Las ballenas y delfines siempre han estado ahí, de hecho, a principios del si-
glo XX existía una factoría ballenera en la Bahía de Getares de Algeciras. Y están
tan seguros de que vas a disfrutar de los cetáceos que si no los ves, te devuelven
el dinero.
Se puede disfrutar del paso de las orcas en verano y de los delfines todo el
año porque son especies residentes en este tramo de agua que une el sur de
Europa con el norte de África.

Whales and dolphins have always come here; in fact, a whaling factory was
based in the Bay of Getares in Algeciras in the early 20th century. The company
operating the boat trips is so sure that you'll spot the sea mammals that they'll gi-
ve you a refund if none appear.
The area is visited by killer whales in the summer, but you can see dolphins all
year round because they are residents of this stretch of sea connecting southern
Europe with northern Africa.
